Is a cash discount program legal in Texas?
Offering a discount for paying with cash is permitted under federal law in every state, Texas included. Adding a fee to card payments is a separate mechanism governed by state law and card-network rules, which have changed in Texas over the years. I’m under contract with another processor. Can I still switch?
